This Privacy Policy describes the use of information collected by Nemours Children’s Health’s Wellness Workbook for Early Care & Education (ECE). Please read the entire policy carefully to understand what information is collected, how it is used and protected. This policy may be updated so please be sure to visit this page regularly for any changes in how we use and protect your information.

Registration Information Collected and Program Assessment Information
Use of the Wellness Workbook for ECE is completely voluntary. By registering with the Wellness Workbook for ECE you will be providing information about yourself and your child care program. No information about any specific child is collected. You may provide only the information you feel comfortable sharing. Nemours Children’s staff may review your registration information and information collected through the Program Assessments.

If you are using the Wellness Workbook as part of a formal training and technical assistance project then your registration information and program assessment answers may be viewed or shared with a trained technical assistance provider or coach. You will receive direct support from the trainer or coach and know their name. If known at the time of registration, you will be asked to provide the name of the Trainer assigned to support you in improving practices and policies in your child care program. This trainer will review your program assessment results to understand how best to support you and provide technical resources as needed. Nemours Children’s may be asked to provide summary reporting data to partners like state departments of health or funders to understand and track participation. No personally identifiable data will be shared. We will do our best to keep your information confidential and anonymous. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. Information related to child care programs will only be presented in aggregate.

Outside Relationships

Nemours Children’s does not share or sell any information about Wellness Workbook users. We do not select or share content based upon relationships with outside vendors. We do not accept advertising or sponsorship from outside vendors.

IP Addresses

We collect IP (Internet Protocol) addresses for the purpose of analyzing aggregate traffic statistics. An IP address is a set of numbers assigned to a given internet connection when you connect to the Internet, however, an IP address is not unique to a given computer. Through IP address analysis we cannot determine the identity of our visitors, but we can determine what part of the world they are connecting from and what Internet Service Provider (ISP), operating system and Web browser they use. We do not sell or share IP address information with any vendors or other health care organizations.

Cookies

A “cookie” is a small data file stored on your hard drive. Cookies are used to store small pieces of basic information so the user does not need to continually resubmit that data to the site. Some portions of the site require a log-in and/or the use of cookies. In these areas, your browser must be set to accept cookies. The cookies are only used to keep track of the fact that the user has successfully logged in or accomplished a given task. They are not used to store any information about users.

Additionally, Nemours Children’s may include a third party cookie from Google in order to use Google Analytics to monitor site statistics. Please note Google and its wholly owned subsidiaries may retain and use, subject to the terms of its Privacy Policy information collected in your use of the Service.

Most browsers offer instructions on how to reset the browser to reject cookies in the “Help” section of the toolbar. You do not have to accept our cookies to productively use our site. We do not use cookies to collect or store personal information about you.

Nemours Children’s Notice of Privacy Practices

Individuals have a right to adequate notice of the uses and disclosures of protected health information that may be made by Nemours Children’s, and of the individual’s rights and Nemours Children’s legal duties with respect to protected health information. Outside Sites

The Wellness Workbook includes hyperlinks that lead to sites outside of our website. Our Privacy Policy applies only to the Wellness Workbook for ECE. Hyperlinks leading to outside sites will open in a separate browser window. Whenever visiting a site outside the Wellness Workbook, you should always read the privacy policy for that site. Do not make the assumption that any of the stipulations of the this Privacy Policy apply to any other websites. They do not. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. Links to outside sites are provided as a general informational service to the public.

Changes and Modifications

You should read our Privacy Policy every time you visit the Wellness Workbook for ECE. As new features are added to the site, some aspects of the policy will need to be changed. We reserve the right to modify our Privacy Policy at any time.
